Pamela to wed for the third time?

Pamela Anderson and boyfriend Rick Salomon have applied for - and were granted - a marriage license in Las Vegas, according to Access Hollywood. "I was told late Saturday night that they filed for a marriage license," says a source, adding that Anderson - who has been performing with magician Hans Klok in Vegas - and Salomon have been inseparable lately. "Rick is always with her. He's backstage when she does her show all the time." According to Access, their Las Vegas affiliate KVBC confirmed that the pair got the license on Saturday. A rep for Anderson had no comment. Earlier this month, the Baywatch alum told Ellen Degeneres she was dating a new mystery man. "I paid off a poker debt with sexual favors, and I fell in love," she said on Ellen's show. "It's so romantic. It's romance." Asked about her future plans, she said, "I'm not really engaged. I don't know what I am. We may never get that far. We're in love." Salomon infamously appeared in One Night in Paris with Paris Hilton and is divorced from 90210 star Shannen Doherty.

Lindsay to spend the week with her dad

Lindsay Lohan's father is heading to Utah next week to spend five days of "quality time" with his troubled daughter - a visit he hopes will help in her battle to stay clean and sober. "We've still got a lot of catching up to do," said Michael Lohan, who reunited with the Mean Girls starlet for two days at the Cirque Lodge earlier this month after a two-year estrangement. This time, Michael will take his daughter from the facility to a remote, undisclosed location in Utah as part of out-patient therapy. "I'm looking forward to spending the next week with her," he said. "We've been in constant phone contact. She's in a great, great place now. I've never heard her so honest, contrite and focused. Lindsay is weeding out all the bad. She's taking a step back and reevaluating her life. What she tells - her honesty and openness - has brought me to tears. It's beyond words how proud I am of her," Lohan Sr. said. Sources says Michael and Lindsay wanted next week's visit and counselors gave their blessing. "They believe Michael's the best person for Lindsay to be with now," one insider revealed. "Not only is he her dad - someone with her best interests at heart - but he's also someone who successfully turned his life around after battling substance abuse." Unlike her mother, Lindsay's dad is not involved in her career.

Another celeb could face jail time

Michelle Rodriguez has failed to fulfill the terms of her probation in a DUI case and may face jail time, the LA City Attorney's office announced yesterday. "She hasn't shown proof of completion of her 30 days of community service," said a city spokesperson. "She could face jail time, but it's up to the judge." The City Attorney's office alleges that Rodriguez turned in a false document showing that she'd completed one day of service on September 25, court filings show. However, the actress later stated that she was in New York on that date. On Friday afternoon, Rodriguez arrived at the court for a hearing on the matter, looking somber and accompanied by her lawyer, who successfully asked the judge to postpone Friday's hearing to Oct. 12. Rodriguez was scolded by the Superior Court judge, who ordered her to complete two days of road cleanup duty for the California Department of Transportation. Outside the court, the Lost alum's attorney said, "We believe this is all due to a clerical error. My client did complete the full 30 days." In May 2006, Rodriguez served only four hours and 20 minutes of a two month sentence at the Lynwood, California, jail for violating probation stemming from a DUI arrest in Hawaii.

Gucci Shades

As hard as I try, I can't seem to get over my love for the giant plastic framed shades. Everytime when I think I've found the perfect pair that would last me a lifetime, I find a new pair that is more perfect than the last. And the thing is, they're all basically huge shades with plastic frames!
So I am perfectly aware that this will probably not be the last time I utter this sentence, but I swear this time I've found the perfect giant plastic shades. Wandering aimlessly around the department store, I glanced over at the shades selection they just popped out from amongst the rows of oddly shaped new trendy shades that I doubt would look flattering on me. It was almost like in those cartoons when the character finally finds the item they've been looking for and the item just shines in the distant and music comes up and the world is perfect again. These Gucci shades are perfectly rounded and the nose support is just right that the bottom of the frames do not touch your cheeks (I have to admit, my current one does touch the cheek). And they look fabulous on. They are just brilliant in its simplicity and elegant shape. It comes in brown and black, but somehow I prefer the brown, thinking its more chic and not quite so dark. Plus, since I already have black plastic frames....brown plastic frames would be a variation. My current huge plastic framed shades are from Dior, and don't get me wrong, I still love it to bits. I especially love the Dior "D" on the side with the pretty flower detail on the edges. And it looks great. But I'm sure all of you will agree that they are very different from the Gucci pair......so it is a different kind of perfect. OR maybe the trend for huge plastic frames has evolved over seasons and I have not even noticed but just blindly followed to my liking. Wow, now even I am slightly confused with my logic. Whichever way, those Gucci are just soooo beautiful!
Incidentally, I would like to mention that I also tried on these pair from DVB, just because its from DVB and I wanted to see what they were like. The shape and design is actually quite nice. Only thing is, they are so black that I felt blind in it. I guess thats what celebs need for maximum coverage from the paparazzi?

Kiefer formally charged with DUI

Kiefer Sutherland has officially been charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI. The Los Angeles County City Attorney's Office cited the 24 star with one count of driving under the influence and one count of driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or above, and also asked that his 2004 probation be revoked. Sutherland will be arraigned on October 16 - in front of the same judge that presided over Paris Hilton's case. If convicted, the actor could face a maximum sentence of a year and a half in jail.

Tell Me About It, Stud: Cuffs, Bracelets & Bangles

I so wuv/ want these studded and jeweled bracelets:

($80, Hayden-Harnett)
Best of the bunch. It doesn't have that annoying air of "OMG! I ALSO OWN A BLACK RAMONES T-SHIRT BECAUSE I VERY MUCH WOULD LIKE TO LOOK 'PUNK'" sorta look that I SOOO hate.

($22, Asos.com)
Love the brown-and-gold '70s color combo.

An enjoyable Donatella Versace vibe (about the only time you'll see the words "enjoyable" and "Donatella" used alongside each other in such harmony.)

($198, CC Skye, Boutiquetoyou.com)
I'm still uncertain whether this sucks or not. I definitely like their slimmer cuffs much better. Thoughts? Comment it.

($45, Shopintuition.com)
BTW, this is fucking terrible. As much as I love zeppolis, it looks like something you'd see for sale at the San Gennaro festival or something alongside those personalized airbrushed license plate covers or fiber optic light-up flashlight things. Horbs.
