New daddy Diddy is the subject of an investigation by the LAPD for allegedly assaulting a man at an Oscar party on Sunday night. 27-year-old Gerard Rechnitzer was on his way to the parking lot at the Roosevelt Hotel at around 2 a.m. and stopped off to use the bathroom. He emerged to find his fiancee surrounded by Diddy and five other men, and approached to get his fiancee to leave with him. Diddy reportedly invited Rechnitzer's fiancee to a party he was having and when Rechnitzer asked his date to leave again, Diddy allegedly punched him in the jaw. Rechnitzer called 911, but by the time the LAPD arrived on scene Diddy had left. The LAPD are said to be looking into the matter.Tuesday, February 27, 2007

Madonna puts in overtime at the gym
Madonna works hard to keep up her fit form - and rarely takes a day off from exercising. "I mix it up - Pilates, gyrotonics, yoga," says the pop superstar. "I do it six days a week, with Sundays off... Actually Sunday is a day of horse riding. There's no such thing as a day off." She does admit, however, to spoiling her diet once in a while by having "fat days." "I run longer on the treadmill and don't eat as much the next day, so then it evens out, but I'm sure it's all in my head."
Urgent health warning issued to celebs
The Los Angeles Department of Public Health has issued an urgent warning to anyone who attended the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue party on February 14 to advise that they may have been exposed to hepatitis A - a party for which the guest list included cover girl Beyonce as well as dozens of models including Leonardo Dicaprio's girlfriend Bar Rafaeli. An employee of celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck - whose company catered the event - was recently diagnosed as having the disease. The LA health department is strongly urging that anyone who attended the SI party - or any other catered by Wolfgang Puck between February 1 and 20 - to get an immune globulin shot ASAP to prevent illness. A rep for Puck said guests at the Governor's Ball Oscar party held Sunday night are not at risk.REISS UK

A new pic has been posted on Britney Spears's official website - one that might remind fans of a younger, more carefree, less-troubled popstar. The site is still being revamped - as is normal for a star to do when a new album is in the works - but there is no mention of Spears's recent troubles.
Liev confirms baby news
Liev Schreiber confirmed the rumors that he and girlfriend Naomi Watts are expecting a baby. "Yes, I'm going to be a dad," Schreiber told Conan O'Brien on air last night. "Very exciting." Watts and Schreiber, who co-starred in this year's The Painted Veil along with Edward Norton, have been dating for about two years. Watts and her little baby bump walked the red carpet at the Oscars with pal Nicole Kidman, and though the actress had not gone public with the news, her dress designer accidentally spilled the beans.United nations
