ANTM writers strike
ANTM writers (writers? isn't it a "reality" show?) walked off the show on Thursday in a dispute with the show's producers. The group is threatening to strike indefinitely, claiming producers have ignored their requests to join the Writers Guild of America (WGA) union. "They want a guild contract, but their employer won't give it to them," the WGA president told the LA Times. "This will be the first on many actions like it." The writers demonstrated in a brief rally outside their LA office after the walkout, handing out flyers explaining their situation.
