Hollywood supercouple Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe have separated. A rep for the couple released a statement this morning saying, "We are saddened to announce that Reese and Ryan have decided to formally separate. They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time." Divorce papers have not been filed, but Witherspoon has reportedly hired celebrity divorce lawyer Robert Kaufman, who represented Jennifer Aniston in her split from Brad Pitt. The couple share a daughter and son, Ava and Deacon.
