Paris Hilton spent her last weekend of freedom hitting up several LA parties and generally "laughing and living it up," according to witnesses. On Thursday night, Hilton and little sister Nicky showed up at a party at the Regent Beverly Wilshire before making a brief appearance at a pre-MTV Movie Awards fete at a private Beverly Hills mansion. Friday night involved a stop at Hollywood hotspot Les Deux with an entourage of friends. "Paris seemed very composed, but certainly was not the crazy party girl from recent nights out," says a fellow clubgoer. Late Saturday afternoon, the socialite and her sister accompanied their mom to her 30-year high school reunion, followed by dinner out at celeb favorite Mr. Chow. At around midnight, the siblings left their mom and hooked up with friends for half an hour at Teddy's, then took the party to Area nightclub. "Paris was in a great mood," said a witness. "It was like a normal night out with friends. You wouldn't know she's about to go to the slammer." A rep for the sheriff's department in charge of overseeing the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, CA, told the LA Times on Saturday that authorities will not allow the heiress to "be seen in handcuffs...or in the back of a police car, forlorn and in handcuffs."
