Charlize Theron will be back on the big screen next year in The Burning Plain. The Oscar winner will also executive produce the flick, which will feature a series of thematically connected storylines. Theron will play a woman trying to find common ground with her parents after a difficult childhood. The film is the directing debut of acclaimed writer Guillermo Arriaga, who penned 21 Grams and Babel.
