A few years ago, a movie called Iron Man took a once famous actor who had fallen on hard times of his own making and transformed him once again into an A list Hollywood actor. In the summer Robert Downey Jr. will once again light up movie screens across the world as he stars once again as Tony Stark in "Iron Man 2". The first "Iron Man" movie is one of my favorite movies of all time and we're look forward to lining up with millions of other movie fans in May to see the next sequel in this series.
The Iron Man concept may have been taken from comic books, but it was also custom made for the silver screen and Robert Downey Jr. is the perfect actor to play the leading role. Just like with the first "Iron Man" movie, we foresee Iron Man 2 should score well at the box office and make this flick the one to beat in the all important summer (2010) release category
Here is the latest Iron Man 2 trailer for your preview.
This Iron Man 2 trailer jumped the gun a little bit, and has popped online before its Jimmy Kimmel debut. At first glance it looks like a rehash of the first trailer, but you'd be wrong! There's tons of new footage in here, and you'll get to hear from characters you haven't yet seen, namely Sam Rockwell's Justin Hammer and a bit more of Mickey Rourke's Whiplash. His Russian accent sounds a bit cartoony, but better than it did in that muttered line in the first trailer.
Even better, you get to see some of Scarlett Johansson. She still doesn't have a single line to her black leather catsuit, but she gets to throw some sultry glances and shoot Tony Stark's palm gun. I don't even mean that to sound sexy, but it's going to. Well, we can't help it. :)
So what we can do now is just wait for the judgment day to come. Yes, May 7.

Man Movie Review: Avatar

He's had to wait all this time for technology to catch up to his vision of a strange alien world and the war for its precious resources, and has invented a lot of it to push everything from cameras to 3D techniques forward.
Looking at the actors alone, Sam Worthington is pretty much perfect for the part he plays. He narrates a good part of the movie and has a voice with a bit of an attitude — yet still calming — that was needed to fit the bill. The other actor that stands out is Stephen Lang, who plays the tough-as-nails Colonel Miles Quaritch.
If I were to picture in my mind the type of person who should have played Colonel Quaritch, it would be Stephen Lang. I found Giovanni Ribisi to be an odd choice to play the corporate weasel heading up the project. He just seemed a bit young for the part. Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver and Michelle Rodriguez all did a fine job but none of them were called upon to go over and above what you might expect from them.
Now I'm think about it, the story line was pretty simple. The corporate bullies, with the help of the army, step in to take something valuable and they don’t care who they are inconveniencing by doing it. We’ve seen this a million times before on film and probably more times in real life. The only difference with Avatar is that it is happening on an alien planet, with a race of which we have never heard and with some of the best special effects we have ever seen.
In conclusion, if you didn’t already expect the special effects in this movie, the SFX are impeccable and he uses them well. Instead of just shoving them in your face, he weaves them into the story beautifully, and they come off effortlessly.

Movie Review: Bruno
Nothing much special lately, just managed to catch up with friends at Starbuck as well as catching up with few movies lately.

If your memory served you well, I am sure you still remember this show called Bruno. Yes!! I thought bought myself some laugh and ended up with this show. So thought of sharing some review with some of you here.
I would consider this as pervasive strong and crude sexual content, graphic nudity and language.
Starring Sacha Baron Cohen, Alice Evans, Trishelle Cannatella, Sandra Seeling, and Ben Youcef

Story line is talking about this guy, Bruno, after being ousted from the fashion community during a hi-profile mishap on a Milan runway, the uber-famous fashion correspondent, Bruno, heads to the U.S. to try and straighten himself out.
So if you think of getting yourself a laugh, this is not a bad choice after all.

Movie Review: X-Men Origins: Wolverine
I'm an X-men fanatic. I've been reading the comics for some times. I love Wolverine even though he's grossly overexposed and has lost the mystery that made him cool to begin with. X-men Origins: Wolverine is a film that should be right in my wheelhouse.

If you are the fan of Huge Jackman, you should not missed this great show.
