MORTS! Paris Hilton In Jenny Packham!

GAHHH! I EFFING KNEW IT! Paris Hilton DID WEAR a JENNY PACKHAM dress to the 2009 MTV Movie Awards! (I'm getting married in a Jenny Packham dress.) Which means I actually have something ELSE in common with Paris Hilton (besides the fact that we've BOTH slept with Joe Francis -- personal low point). Ugh. My suspicions were raised when I saw the pretty jeweled detailing, and while I love the peachy-pink color, I hate the tiered skirt -- too ice-skatery. But, for Paris Hilton, this really isn't bad. Anyway, BOO! PARIS! HOW COULD YOU? Jenny Packham's MINE MINE MINE! :<
PEE ESS! Amber was REPORTING FROM THE RED CARPET at the Movie Awards, ogling everyone's legs! Check out her high-lare recap at Beauty Blogging Junkie!

A PLAGUE ON YOUR HOUSE, STUART WEITZMAN!

($360, Stuart Weitzman, Zappos)
Not only are these Stuart Weitzman Trianon a fashion MIRACLE -- I mean LOOK at that Deco heel. Could you DIE and come back to LIFE? -- but they'd match my Jenny Packham wedding dress (bought it, btw, at Mark Ingram. Totally painless, and they were wonderful!) PERFECTLY. It's like Jenny Packham and Stuart Weitzman collaborated and MADE my dress to GO with these flipping GORGEOUS heels. Like to borrow a line from Beauty Blogging Junkie's Amber, I'm breathing into a bag over these. HOWEVER, I'm out for BLOOD because they're only available in a 9.5. I breathlessly emailed Zappos who were all like "oh, you're a total doll, lovey, but you're SHIT OUT OF FUCKING LUCK BECAUSE WE'RE NOT GETTING ANY MORE IN." (They didn't swear, but still.) SO NOW WHAT?

Look, I realize that if I DON'T get these, it's not the end of the world. I know I've lived a Very Good Life and that I'm really truly fucking blessed just to have functioning body systems and arms and legs and hands and feet, but speaking of feet, I WOULD STEAL THESE OFF OF SOMEONE'S ACTUAL FEET -- RIP THEM OFF THEIR ANKLES (if they were a size 8). LIKE, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? WHO DO I NEED TO SLEEP WITH TO GET THESE IN A SIZE 8? Because I'll do it, and I'll sleep with them (quickly, drunkenly, and then deny that it ever hapened). I'm effing serious here.

Anyone know anyone in Stuart Weitzman PR? Anyone know Stuart Weitzman? I REFUSE to believe that there isn't a size 8 sitting in a warehouse somewhere. And I... I'm gonna go Nancy Drew on Stuart Weitzman ass and I'ma FIND 'EM!

YEAH, BISHES!

Jenny Packham Trunk Show At Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier

Brides and bridal types who love reading about bridal stuff -- I think/ hope I'm gonna get my dress this weekend! Weeeee! I have an appointment at Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier (they're having a Jenny Packham trunk show May 14 - 16). I went to Mark Ingram earlier this year for a sample sale and had SUCH a pleasant, non-pushy, non-bridal-factory experience, and one of the seriously non-pushy saleswomen (I know -- I couldn't believe it either) brought me a Jenny Packham sample dress. Unexpectedly, I feel in love with it, basically said Yes to that dress ;p and on Saturday, I'm going back to try it on and a few more Jenny Packham dresses (I figured I might as well since I'm not in any hurry) and... um, yeah. I guess I'm maybe gonna get a dress! A Jenny Packham dress. Woah.

I'm not posting a photo of the exact dress here because SOMEONE's being all superstitious, but here's a sampling of some of Jenny Packham's old-Hollywood style.

Oh, and I'll of course let you, the interested bridal sorts, know how my Mark Ingram experience went -- I've only heard great things about their customer service, and my few experiences so far have been great (the sample sale, promptness returning phone calls, oh yeah, and when I first tried on the Jenny Packham dress at that sample sale, I guess I really must've been that excited, because I accidentally left my cell phone and a necklace there, and they were very good about getting them back to me), so I'll let you know how it went.

By the way, the first photo is the Jenny Packham Rosalind dress I love dearly but it's around $5,000. Not happening. The bottom photo is from Jenny Packham's Spring 2009 runway collection. The two right above that are from Jenny Packham's Spring 2010 bridal collection.

Super Sweet Discount Tix To The Wedding Library's Wedding Party Event This Saturday, January 24th!

It's time to get a little more serious about this whole getting-married thing. And instead of planning, I've basically been watching a lot of My Fair Wedding as a passive way of acting like I'm doing wedding stuff when really I'm just watching David Tutera take the tacky, horrid crap out of other people's weddings and plan weddings I could never afford.

Apparently weddings don't plan themselves, you see. So, also-engaged Cat and I are off to The Wedding Library's big Wedding Party event this Saturday, January 24th for a little inspiration.

The event features tons of wedding vendors -- everything from hair and makeup, invites, venues, cakes (yay!), and a bridal fashion show featuring designs by Oscar de la Renta, Lela Rose, Monique Lhuillier, Jenny Packham (one of my favorites), and more.

General admission tickets are $50, BUT, The Wedding Party peeps have kindly extended a two-for-one discount to FashionBinge's finest. Yay! Idea City, here we come!

+ Get two-for-one tickets with promo code" BringaGuest." Buy tickets here.
