Gift Alert: Tracey Tanner

Just ran across these fabulous leather accessories by Tracey Tanner, thanks to one of my favorite wedding blogs (I still read just a few, okay?), East Side Bride. Tracey Tanner's leather wristbands, in particular, are totally badass and would make great gifts. A few of my faves, which would also make great gifts FOR ME, should you happen to be in the market for same:

Sparkle triple-wrap band, $45.

Space stud band, $35.

Mono square double-wrap band, $45.

Bar wristband, $35. You can get up to five rows of studs!

Scale wristband, $85.

Fin wristband, $45.

There are also small, medium, and large bags, wallets, pouches, etc.

Go get 'em!

Is A Non-Slutty Leather Dress Just Too Much To Ask For?

Is it really? All I want is a bad-ass leather dress that doesn't make me look like a prosti or a Hell's Angel or both.
(Apprx $199 USD, Warehouse.co.uk)
Apparently Warehouse has the perfect LLD, but they don't ship to the US. Warehouse, I'm sorry I totally didn't help you stay in business when you still existed in New York. Maybe if you had awesome shit like this back then I would've dropped the zero that gets the hero. #totallysuperficialretroactivereversebuyersremorse

($202, Mango, Asos.com)
Mango's little black leather dress is OOOkay, I guess, but it's too boxy. I need me a pretty little girlie cut to offset the bad-ass leatherness.

($271.96, Muu Baa, Asos.com)
... And yet, this leather garbage bag/ upside-down hot air balloon is far sadder than Warehouse not shipping to the US.

Why, God, Why: Leather Leggings

($955, Les Chiffoniers, Net-a-porter.com)
I mean... They're leggings. And they're LEATHER. They're ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. And they're SOLD OUT!?!?? During an economic FREE FALL? Fail on every level.

Oddly, I'm Drawn To This Leather T-Shirt From Slow And Steady Wins The Race

($188, Slow And Steady Wins The Race, Urban Outfitters)
Deconstructionist quasi-couturier Slow And Steady Wins The Race has united leather and the t-shirt -- two tastes that don't usually taste together but ultimately do here. Get it at Urban Outfitters, and wear it with everything.
