Alexander McQueen Patent Blue Leather Heels, Why Can't We Be Friends?

I could care less if electric cornflower blue is in the fall 2010 color palette or not. (It's not.) I NEED a pair of blue patent leather heels in my life. More purple than green, kay?

The perfect pair are obviously these Alexander McQueen heels with silver detailing on the heel.

($255.96, Alexander McQueen, Matches Fashion)
Oh yeah, and check out the Naag.com piece I did on EIGHT great blue nail polishes for fall! That's a different blue nail polish shade for every finger, plus two wild cards for your remaining two fingers (assuming/ hoping you have all 10).

Oh why oh why can't we be friends?

Totally Cute Beige Rosette Heels!

I have many a wedding coming up, and at first, I was looking for some beige rosette heels to wear in the wedding I'm in at the end of this month. I ended up going with some vintage gold heels instead, but check out these great Seychelles "Dinner Is Served" satin rosette heels in beige and black.
($84, Seychelles, Zappos.com)
The question isn't what WILL these go with but what WON'T they go with? And usually I'm not a proponent of silk shoes due to their high propensity towards getting completely ruined, but for a wedding they can be perfs, especially in a natural color like beige, or in a deep rich blue or magenta or purple. Yay, fun, cool bridal stuff!

SCREW YOU, American Economy! I Really Wanna Buy This Kitten Shirt!

Grr. Stooopit me and my quasi-frugal only-spending-on-what's-really-necessary ways. I mean, not ONLY do I want that teddy bear tee, but I also REALLY want this freaking kitten t-shirt from ModCloth:
($34.99, PepaLoves, ModCloth.com)
I have a roof over my head, food, a bed, and many other luxuries (like a bed). So you know. No need to call the Waaaambulance when there are even bigger problems in this world than our economy basically collapsing. I mean HELLO! Whitney Port FELL!

Speaking of Pepa Loves, LOOOOOK (would you?) at their BURGER COIN PURSE!!
(Apprx $16 USD, Lazy Oaf, Pepa Loves)
EEEeee!

Also, speaking of ModCloth -- my black and gold cone heels from ModCloth arrived, and they're even more wonderful IRL. GIT 'EM!
($37.49, ModCloth.com)
DONCHA FERGIT: ModCloth LURVES Le 'Binge so much that they gave us our very own promo code: 10% off with BINGE10.

Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want

... Like these French Connection studded heels and this new-for-fall Hayden-Harnett bag:
($186, French Connection, Asos)
I don't particularly LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the whipstitching around the top, but I'd walk a mile in heels for those studded cone heels.

($495, Hayden-Harnett)
The most perfectly perfect fall/winter colors. Sigh. Hayden-Harnett: determined to ensure I never stop coveting and lusting after material goods.

Abaete For Payless: The Post

Okay, y'all. Randomly yesterday I popped into the Payless on that strip of urban purgatory known as 34th Street. I popped OUT with these two pairs of Abaete For Payless:

($25, Abaete For Payless)

($30, Abaete For Payless)

I totes BOGO'd y'all, so how could I say no to two pairs? I LOOOOOVE the graduated Lucite heel on the Audrey pump above. And the first pair, Flavin, fits like a dream -- I'm even wearing them right now... with my way oversized yellow Target pj capris, vintage red Coke Tee and red kimono robe, thank you very much. WHY IS STYLE.COM NOT HERE TAKING PIX OF ME, Hm?? I mean it IS fashion week!

Footwear Friday

Okay, here's a Freaky Friday Fun Fact: I really don't like ice cream much. Something about the salt content and how all that soda makes me crave gallons of water for a freaking fortnight. But what I DO like is cone heels. So, let's begin, shall wes?

Ahhh the Lanvin cone heel -- the daddy mack of them all. J'adore! They're not easy to get your hands on, but I did find a pair of the blue ones, and if you're a size 40, you're in luck.

($567, Lanvin, Marissacollections.com)
Sure, they're totally unwalkable, but if you're spending that kinda cash on heels, you probably can afford cabs. There are also a handful of pairs on eBay.

($278, Hugo, Zappos)
A gorgeous alternative to Lanvin, and they're patent leather too! Two trends for half the price of one!

($75, Na Na, Piperlime)
These are gorgeous -- and gorgeously priced -- in black too, but the olive is really unique.

($125, Vince Camuto, Piperlime)
The snakeskin, peep toe and chunky heel combine to make this shoe a sexy stunner.

($398, Tapeet, Zappos)
Another great chunky-heeled version in a metallic.

($28, Delicious, Lulusfashionlounge.com)
Simple, sexy, super affordable = sold.

($17.99, eBay)
Really can't argue with the price here.

($175, Report, Piperlime)
Simply beautiful.

($171, Fornarina, Zappos)
I'm not too into snakeskin, but I could certainly make an exception for these.

($138, daniblack, Zappos)
And I could absolutely make an exception for these...

($201, Via Spiga, Zappos)
Love the cut of these. They're sorta '80s rich-girl prepster in the best possible way.

($72, Pink Studio, Lulusfashionlounge)
How can you even tolerate how cute the polka dos are? Normally rosy tan and light blue is so vomitoriously kountry kitchen, but it works so perfectly here. A great work shoe.

($185, Miss Sixty)
I could probably do a week's worth of posts on Oxfords alone, but these are also great work wear.

($442, Costume National, Zappos)
As are these. Ultimate power bitch banker heel. Woo!

And her opposite, the fun-lovin' hippie kid sister who comes to visit for the weekend and leaves crumbs everywhere.

($171, Fornarina, Zappos)
Fun and festive.

($25, Abate For Payless)
My Lord I love high-end/low-rent collabos!

... And finally... my two faves...

($175, Report Signature, Piperlime)
Oh yes. Yes yes yes. Oh yes indeed.

... And...
($625, Pucci, Net-a-porter.com)
Possibly the most best shoes ever in the universe and history of all shoes forever and ever amen.
