Binge Lust: Tarina Tarantino Electric KoolAid Bib Necklace + Tarina Tarantino In-Store Event In NYC Saturday July 25

($740, Tarina Tarantino)
I fully endorse EVERY single piece of Tarina Tarantino's Electric Kool-Aid collection, but her bib necklace is the standout. This piece is like tasting every color of the rainbow -- like doing acid, minus the nasty flashblacks and 40-pound spiders crawling up your face! Win!

Oh yeah, and check out her subtle but stunning, wedding-worthy 1930s Art Deco Lucite drop earrings, which come in a handful of flavors. If they matched my wedding dress, I'd absolutely wear these day ofs.

($55, Tarina Tarantino)

ALSO, if you're in NYC, stop by the Soho store TOMORROW -- Saturday, July, 25 for Tarina's book signing!

FINALLY, THANK YOU, Sparkle Factory, for the FashionBinge shoutout! RAWX!

Samanca Silver Hoop Earrings From Bad Joan

Can't be mad at these great silver hoops from Bad Joan. They're by Samanca and they're beaded and wrapped in waxed linen and remind me of the Chan Luu earrings I wrote about back in November.

They look super versatile -- good for hippie chicks or quasi-punk types -- and, um, HI! They're $35!

($35, Samanca, Badjoan.com)
Remember, you need Bad Joan's discount code to get the deeeeal, but unlike, say, a sorority, everyone can join. Join Bad Joan anywhere on the site where it says "click for the discount code." Easy peasy!

Rihanna Rocks Stephen Webster Earrings At Pepsi Smash

You were probably too busy noticing her bizarro prosthetic legs, but I am harts-ing the earrings Rihanna wore to the Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash.

They're by Stephen Webster from the "Shattered" silver collection. Downside: not downturn-friendly at $590. Oh wells.

Can't Hate On House Of Harlow

Y'all, let's take a look at Nicole Richie's House of Harlow jewelry. I'm liking liking liking the bold, chunky pieces, geometrical designs, Aztec themes, '70s inspirations, and bright but not obnoxious primary colors. The line's geared toward teens -- note the lower price points, especially the earrings -- but I'd wear a lot of the pieces. But then again, I'm basically 13.

A few of my faves:
($22, House of Harlow, Shopkitson.com)

($68, House of Harlow, Shopkitson.com)

($60, House of Harlow, Shopkiston.com)

($60, House of Harlow, Shopkitson.com)

($125, House of Harlow, Shopkitson.com)
My very favorite House of Harlow piece.

+ Check Kitson to pre-order lotsa different House of Harlow bracelets and earrings and stuff.

Maison Martin Margiela Jewelry Is Making Me VERY ANGRY!

Because I LOVE it so much and can in no way shape or form justify purchasing it. DAMN YOU, Dina of Eye4Style for turning me onto MMM jewelry!

($215, Maison Martin Margiela, eLuxury.com)
I MAY bust out ye olde jewelin' tewls and see if I can craft something similar, though I'm pretty clueless when it comes to working with rhinestone strands. Weep! Can any of you crafty ladies out there make something similar?

($185, Maison Martin Margiela, eLuxury.com)
Lurves these Maison Martin Margiela paperclip earrings. 'Course, the recession-buster/ punk-as-fuck approach would be to just stick some regular paperclips in your ear and call it a night... and then call the doctor for a tetanus shot.

Alexis Bittar: Spring 2009 Preview

Brooklyn jewelry designer Alexis Bittar is one of those rare gems whose designs are so fantastic that I'd wear any or all of them... or even several pieces at once. Case in point: his '80s-inspired Risky Business brooches, which are part of his textured, highly tactile Lucite collection (his Lucite pieces are some of my favorites, and they're also impeccably designed yet indestructible), and his Deco-y parrots. Also, do NOT miss his stacks and stacks of gumdrop-colored Lucite bangles. I crave them all like candy... And below that, his tilda wood earrings from his Elements collection, and assorted icy, angular, and rose gold bangles. When I sleep tonight, I will dream about that white bangle with gold shards -- on the far right -- from the Miss Havisham collection. Alexis Bittar's Spring 2009 pieces are available January '09. Sweet Dreams!

I Luurve Chan Luu Earrings!

I saw the most extraordinarily gorgeous pair of Chan Luu earrings at Bendel's (Like how I dropped that on your lap? I was there for a beauty event -- you know, because otherwise I just blow the fuck into Bendel's on the regular... on my way to Payless and Daffy's!), but I can't find them online. Boo. Anyway, check out these picks -- they combine rough-hewn stones and gems that create a just-femmey-enough, exotic beach-girl vibe.
