FashionBinge Partially Retracts Its Previous Position On FRINGE Due To These Minnetonka Boots

Maybe it's because I've started smoking crack regularly now or because I'm a flagrant hypocrite or both, but not only do I love these black suede fringed (FRINGED!) Minnetonka boots, but I'm WEARING THEM RIGHT NOW. And guess what? They're comfy, and they REWL.

($83, Minnetonka, Tobi.com)
I saved 10% with coupon code "10GRECHEN," and I think because of where they come to on my leg -- just to the bottom of my calves -- they're super slimming with black skinny jeans. I know I've hated on fringe before, and um, I basically still stand by that -- especially brown fringe (shudder!), and any and all fringe jackets, I can pretty much patently, across the board say I reject. But these black fringe Minnetonka boots are the jumpoff. Act straight.

Ay Dios Mios, Mami, Quiero This See By Chloe Bag!

I've been doing a fair amount of running around all this week, doing Fashion Week stuff, seeing many things -- most beautiful, a couple questionable. But this See By Chloe Les Jardins Let's Party floral clutch is one of the best things I've seen all week.

($295, See By Chloe, Tobi.com)
Florals are huge for spring, but I love how the florals here are bigger, bolder, and embrace primary colors -- more punk princess than prairie pioneer.

80%20 Wedges: Walk At Your Own Risk!

($67, 80%20, Tobi.com)
Orange is one of my favey-fave colors, and this 80%20 pair in "nectar" work in theory, though in practice, I probably not even walk a foot or two without totally falling and eating it. If you can manage, more power to you. Plus, they're on saley-sale!

Four From Grace Sun

Came across this Grace Sun silk dress today! LOVE this great purple-and-yellow combo. Pair it with a grey clutch, and you're golden, Ponyboy!
($163, Grace Sun, RevolveClothing.com)
It's on sale, but unfortunately it's only available in size 0.

($260, Grace Sun, Tobi.com)
Love the super-mod zipper and tank style and the more antique-y burnt orange hue here.

($140, Grace Sun, Blaec)
Blaec's got 35% off with promo code: SALE. It's sorta lovely in its simplicity, yet also great when styled like so:

And finally:
($91, Grace Sun, BasicBoutique.com)
Pretty. Versatile. ON SALE!

Katie Holmes' Plaid Shirtdress At Non-Katie Holmes Prices!

($185, PRPS, Singer22.com)
Okay, I know that possibly-pregnant Katie Holmes is ALL over PRPS, and that plaid flannel buttondown shirtdress IS cute and all, but what about those of us who are on more of a Joey Potter/ Ice House budget? Those of us not paying for our PRPS in Xenu Xollars? Here are some better deals. Hollr!

($123, Oak)
Okay, so this Oak dress isn't THAT much less, but it's a start.

($60, Something, Tobi.com)
Something is about the dumbest name I could think of for a clothing line, but $60 is something I can deal with.

($48, Shopcora.com)
I don't know WHAT this Cora Boutique is all about, but I'm about to make it my PERSONAL BUSINESS to find out! Oh yeah, and looky how cute it is in white!

($27, Feminnastyle.com)
Vintage sweetness!

($49, Victoria's Secret)
Hesitantly will I recommend this basically okay Victoria's Secret plaid shirtdress. Also, I must point out how cute stuff like this looks like with black leggings and booties in case you was wondering what to wear with booties, because I know sometimes they can be a PITA to pair things with.

Okay. Nite nite! Off to watch the JMU game. GO DOOX!

Nanu nanu!

Belatedly, You Should Buy Me This...

Due to vacation, two straight days of this, and weeks of preparation that went into the latter, my bday came and went sweetly but rather quietly. That's basically why this blog's been a bit hushed lately, but that will change. This is, after all, the BINGE, where blogging is both fashion FEAST and, unfortunately, sometimes fashion FAMINE. But anyway, back to my BEEEEDAY, I propose you all pool your resources and come up with JUST $600, which, combined will buy ME this C'N'C by Costume National grey and black leather jacket. Yes? Yes!

($600, C'N'C by Costume National, Tobi.com)
Only thing is, the color is referred to as "elephant." That's just bad marketing right there. After carbing up to celebray my beeeday, I don't know if psychologically I could handle wearing something named after one of the largest land mammals. Sighz.

Regardless, I'll thank you all in advance for the AWESOME gift! SUCH a surprise! Truly you SO didn't have to!
